Seeking an NP/PA for a Family Medicine outpatient setting with no call responsibilities. The provider will see patients of all ages, with a typical daily volume of up to 33 patients during a 10-hour shift or 30 during an 8-hour shift, with no-show rates around 24% and 21%, respectively. Support staff and MAs are available, and the EMR system used is Epic. Candidates must hold an active CA license, BLS, and DEA, and be BC/BE. The assignment duration is 3 months with potential extension, starting with a 2-3 week credentialing process. The schedule features 4x10-hour shifts, with the first week in 5x8-hour orientation across multiple sites. Compensation is via a bid pay structure, including housing and travel. Candidates should have at least one year of locums experience and one year in family medicine managing routine checkups, chronic conditions, and preventive care, capable of treating patients from newborns to geriatrics. Prior experience in an FQHC or with migrant farm workers is preferred; Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. The role includes 1 hour daily for chart completion.
