The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum, ensuring the comfort and well-being of retired Sisters in various health conditions. Responsibilities include utilizing knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, effective communication, and age-related considerations to deliver or delegate care.
Qualifications include an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), graduation from an accredited nursing program, and current RN licensure in Texas. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interpret medical records and care plans, and experience in gerontology; supervisory experience and knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications are preferred.
Key duties involve providing compassionate care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. The role is full-time.
