Provides healthcare services in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, education, and referrals. Serves as a clinical resource, role model, and trainer for practitioners and students to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsible for performing clinical duties such as taking histories, conducting exams, and ordering tests, while documenting findings accurately. Collaborates with physicians, educates patients and families, and promotes interdisciplinary teamwork. Maintains current licensure and certifications, including ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and others as required. Demonstrates leadership, effective communication, and patient-centered behaviors. Participates in professional development, quality improvement, and compliance activities to support organizational goals and ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.
