This full-time sonographer position is based at the Women’s and Infant’s Specialty Health Clinic on the main hospital campus.
Primary purpose: Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic scans, ensuring patient care.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, and relevant experience (preferred in high-risk OB/GYN).
Responsibilities involve performing diagnostic and complex scans, evaluating image quality, ensuring patient safety, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining accurate records, and participating in training and quality improvement activities.
Skills needed include proficiency with ultrasound equipment, knowledge of anatomy, effective communication, and patient-centered behaviors.
Work schedule typically consists of four 10-hour shifts starting between 6:45-7:30 am.
