Role Overview

This position allows respiratory therapists to independently bid on per diem shifts based on their preferences, facilitating flexible work schedules and improved work/life balance. The role involves supporting patients with cardio-pulmonary conditions through testing, treatment assistance, medication administration, and patient education.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting and analyzing pulmonary function tests
• Assisting healthcare teams in treatment planning
• Administering aerosol medications and chest physical therapy
• Teaching patients proper equipment use and medication administration
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid respiratory therapist license in Virginia
