Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room

Role: Provide direct patient care in the surgical setting, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical histories and prepare them preoperatively.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining sterile surgical environments.
• Support intraoperative procedures by passing instruments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with anesthesia.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, monitor responses, and address complications.
• Transfer patients post-surgery, monitor recovery, and manage dressings and drainage devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Stay current with surgical techniques and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure
• Experience in operating room or surgical settings
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, patient safety, and intraoperative procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
