Role Overview: Provides high-quality echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echo, under supervision. Ensures patient safety, proper identification, and maintains a safe environment while supporting quality assurance and accurate documentation. Demonstrates technical proficiency, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Manages supplies, participates in ongoing education, and prepares patients for procedures, adhering to universal precautions and confidentiality standards.

- Associate degree in echo or accredited training preferred; High School Diploma/GED required
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification mandatory
- Experience with echocardiography equipment (Philips systems, TEE probes) and Epic is advantageous
- Effective communication, computer skills, and one year hospital experience preferred
- Perform and prepare echocardiograms per standards
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and environment
- Document procedures accurately for billing and quality review
- Support department quality assurance and continuous education
- Prioritize STAT and routine procedures, and respond promptly to patient needs
- Collaborate professionally with team members, physicians, and patients
- Manage supplies within budget and ensure proper patient preparation
