Role Overview: Provides high-quality echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echo, under supervision. Ensures patient safety, proper identification, and maintains a safe environment while supporting quality assurance and accurate documentation. Demonstrates technical proficiency, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Manages supplies, participates in ongoing education, and prepares patients for procedures, adhering to universal precautions and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree in echo or accredited training preferred; High School Diploma/GED required
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification mandatory
• Experience with echocardiography equipment (Philips systems, TEE probes) and Epic is advantageous
• Effective communication, computer skills, and one year hospital experience preferred
