We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to perform sleep studies and related therapies in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies.
Responsibilities include setting up and initiating sleep tests such as PSGs, MSLT, and MWT, troubleshooting equipment, ensuring quality sleep studies, and communicating with patients and team members.
They will obtain patient information and consent, serve as a preceptor for students, and adhere to infection control and attendance standards.
Qualifications include certification as a CRT, RRT, or RPSGT; relevant licensure depending on location; and proficiency in patient treatment, technical troubleshooting, and computer skills.
The role requires treating adolescent to geriatric patients and working night shifts in a healthcare facility.
