OR/Sterile Processing Liaison

The SPD/OR Liaison is responsible for managing daily clinical and administrative operations within their designated surgical specialty.
They support operating room staff by ensuring instrument kits are prepared, forecasting instrument needs, and monitoring surgical case flow.
Key duties include conducting KPI audits, analyzing operational trends, coordinating communication for instrument turnaround, and addressing urgent instrumentation needs.
They process and maintain sterile equipment according to safety protocols, assist with documentation and kit updates, and ensure equipment availability for surgeries.
Qualifications: High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred, especially in Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology.
They must have a minimum of three years' sterile processing experience, and certifications such as CRCST or CSPDT are required.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in sterile processing operations.
