Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for providing complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered care, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, analyze arterial blood gases, educate patients and staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with healthcare teams, ensure safety, and support new employees and students.
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, assessment, customer service, and computer proficiency. Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments and promote evidence-based practices.
