Role Overview

Responsible for operating multiple medical imaging modalities including x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography. Supports departmental goals by performing at least three modalities regularly, ensuring safe patient handling, preparing contrast agents, and maintaining equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment across various modalities.
  • Safely transfer patients and perform mobile imaging procedures.
  • Prepare contrast agents and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist in achieving departmental objectives and contribute to a safe environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
  • Current radiologic technologist license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification required.
  • Proficiency in at least three imaging modalities, with current certification in one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography).
  • Three years of technical experience preferred.

  • Ability to perform various imaging examinations safely and effectively.
