We are seeking a qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, performing comprehensive evaluations, and completing VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal. The physician will analyze health conditions, ensure thorough and accurate documentation, and submit assessments promptly to support disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Reviewing and analyzing veterans' medical records securely
• Conducting non-treating assessments to document current health status
• Completing and submitting detailed DBQs within 24 hours of assessments
• Assessing up to four veterans daily
  
  

Ideal Candidates

• Hold an active MD or DO license with PM&R specialization
• Possess board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology, or relevant residency experience
• Are proficient in data analysis, digital documentation, and managing deadlines
• Are dedicated to serving veterans and making a positive impact
