Role Overview
The Senior Mental Health Counselor-Masters provides direct client care, including treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy. They support the development of practice standards, quality services, and new programs, serving as a clinical resource and mentor to other clinicians. Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Alaska clinical licensure (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
- At least 5 years of clinical experience
- Advanced clinical skills, consultation, mentorship, and program promotion
- Provide comprehensive mental health services across multiple shifts
- Assist in developing standards and quality of care
- Educate clients, families, and communities
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to optimize client outcomes
- Support program goals and professional growth
