Role: Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procedures as a scrub tech and monitor tech, interpreting EKGs and pressures.
• Operate imaging equipment and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Support patient transport, prepare and clean the cath lab, and maintain sterile conditions.
• Order supplies, manage inventory, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Participate in teaching and orientation of staff and students.
• Monitor patient status during procedures, assist with hemostasis, and ensure safety post-procedure.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare-related experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within 18 months of hire or ARRT and TX RT(R) licensure.
• Knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Effective inventory management and sterile technique skills.
