Role Overview

They lead clinic staff, review patient histories, perform diagnostics, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in compliance with regulations and protocols. The role requires adaptability to new technologies, efficient management of patient volume, and active engagement in team and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety. They lead clinic staff, review patient histories, perform diagnostics, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in compliance with regulations and protocols. The role requires adaptability to new technologies, efficient management of patient volume, and active engagement in team and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in clinic and telehealth, meeting volume goals
- Lead and guide clinic staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Perform assessments, diagnostics, and prescribe treatments
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to compliance standards
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients, and follow clinical guidelines
- Support staff onboarding, training, and foster a positive work environment
- Participate in community outreach and team meetings
- Perform on-call duties and other duties as assigned
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with active Family Nurse Practitioner license
- 1-2+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Current DEA license; DOT certification within 120 days
- Proven telehealth experience; ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and clinical protocols
