Seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD-eligible for a role focused on providing high-quality nutritional care in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status, develop care plans, and provide recommendations to medical staff.
• Evaluate residents' needs relating to nutrition support, weight management, and skin health.
• Coordinate procurement of nutritional supplies and oral supplements.
• Oversee meal service to ensure adherence to diet modifications.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and diet adjustments.
• Review and update dietary care plans and menu changes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including speech-language pathologists, to manage diets for residents with dysphagia.
• Supervise dietary staff and conduct audits to ensure quality nutrition care.
• Ensure facility compliance with weight monitoring and nutrition regulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Dietitian or RD-eligible.
• Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant guidelines and regulations.
