Role Overview: The Radiologic Technologist collaborates with physicians and department leadership to perform radiographic examinations, ensuring quality patient care and efficient department operations. This position involves operating imaging equipment, maintaining records, and participating in quality assurance and ongoing education.

- Operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images, adjusting technical factors as needed.
- Assist physicians with administering contrast media and other procedures.
- Maintain patient flow, coordinate imaging procedures, and ensure proper documentation.
- Train and support ancillary staff, participate in cross-training and continuing education.
- Perform quality control and troubleshoot equipment like PACS and laser printers.
- Follow safety protocols, provide patient-centered care, and adhere to confidentiality regulations.
- Participate in on-call duties and contribute to department and hospital-wide initiatives.
- ARRT (R) certification, BLS certification, CRT license, and fluoro permit within six months.
- One to five years of experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and independent work skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and positioning patients.
