Role: Staff Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department, responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients following physician prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver precise therapy, perform patient assessments, document in Electronic Medical Records, assist others, recognize limitations, report adverse reactions, educate patients and families, ensure treatment accuracy, simulate patients, schedule treatments, and follow safety procedures.

Participate in quality control, safety measures, and on-call rotations. Act as a clinical instructor for students, evaluating and providing feedback. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and conduct.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years radiation therapy experience preferred, graduate of an accredited program, and certifications including ARRT-T and BLS. Demonstrates proficiency in patient treatment and simulation.

Additional Requirements: Ability to operate radiation equipment safely, perform complex technical procedures, and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
