Role Overview: An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will join a collaborative hospitalist team at a top-tier academic medical center, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized adults in a multidisciplinary environment involving medical students, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform histories, physicals, develop diagnoses, treatment plans, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications
• Deliver comprehensive inpatient care in collaboration with physicians and care team members
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects
• Maintain accurate documentation according to policies and standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and care coordination
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license, with DEA prescriptive authority
• Experience in Acute Care, Cardiology, GI, or inpatient settings preferred; new graduates with relevant experience considered
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
