Role: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage complex patient conditions in a fast-paced acute setting.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications within scope, and ensure accurate electronic health record documentation.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and engagement in care.
• Support safe transitions of care and contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner with authorization for acute care practice.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
