Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing STAT and routine complex laboratory tests on biological specimens using manual and automated methods.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of patient results, collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results, and support operational activities to optimize testing capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related health field, with completion of an accredited training program. Experience in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and physical capability to handle laboratory equipment and patient contact are required. Valid state license or certification (preferred: ASCP or equivalent).
Additional Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts; tolerate exposure to chemicals, infectious agents, and machinery; and distinguish colors. Must work well with others and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
Compensation & Benefits: Hourly rate between $32.43 and $48.66, with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, savings plans, and retirement options.
