Role Overview
This position involves providing comprehensive Diagnostic Radiology services including plain film radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography, neuroradiology, ultrasonography, MRI, and CT. The physician will recommend and oversee patient care, re-evaluate transferred studies for accuracy, and offer consultative support to regional medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves providing comprehensive Diagnostic Radiology services including plain film radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography, neuroradiology, ultrasonography, MRI, and CT. The physician will recommend and oversee patient care, re-evaluate transferred studies for accuracy, and offer consultative support to regional medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Direct patient care and treatment recommendations.
- Review incoming studies for diagnostic accuracy.
- Provide consultation services via phone or on-site visits.
- Train other physicians and medical students in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian school, or foreign equivalent with proper certification.
- Current, unrestricted medical license or registration.
- At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-graduate (internship or residency).
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology or related specialty, with a minimum of 4 years of training or experience.
