Role: Provides patient care, assists with department operations, and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients.
Responsibilities: Assists in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating department activities. Acts as a staff nurse when needed and assumes delegated managerial duties. Ensures care aligns with mission, values, and standards.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license. Requires at least 2 years of patient care experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and supervisor experience.
Certifications: BLS certification mandatory; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on department needs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
