PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION - Linen Technician
The Linen Technician ensures the safe, timely, and efficient completion of daily linen distribution tasks.
Working under the Linen Distribution Manager, responsibilities include delivering clean linen, collecting soiled linen, managing inventory, and organizing storage areas according to policies. They handle customer service calls professionally, record data accurately, and report linen misuse or issues.
Additional duties involve inventory management of carts and linen supplies, maintaining a tidy linen room, and performing any other assigned tasks. The role requires working with both clean and soiled linen in accordance with policies.
Qualifications Include
Decision-making influences include determining quantities and schedules for linen delivery.
Licenses/Certifications: Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and meet vaccine requirements.
Physical demands include walking 3-5 miles daily, lifting and reaching up to 10 pounds, pushing carts up to 70 pounds, and safely handling soiled textiles. The role may require covering other shifts or positions as needed.
