Role: Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision.
Responsibilities: Assist in procedures as a scrub tech, monitor patient vital signs, operate imaging equipment, and interpret EKGs and physiologic data. Support patient transport, prepare and clean the cath lab, manage supplies, ensure sterility, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Aid in post-procedure care, including sheath removal and maintaining hemostasis. Participate in teaching and training new staff and students.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or relevant healthcare experience. Certifications include AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support; RCIS certification within six months or ARRT and TX RT(R). Knowledge of medications, procedures, and inventory management. Strong technical, troubleshooting, and patient care skills are essential.
