Role Overview

Provides occupational therapy treatments across all age groups, supporting program development and ensuring efficient operations. Maintains clear communication and documentation following agency policies and discipline guidelines. Contributes to program effectiveness by organizing work and adjusting schedules to optimize performance. Demonstrates commitment to agency values and fosters positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and the community. Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • State licensure (NC/SC) and CPR certification
  • Preferably one year of experience
  • Knowledge of home health and occupational therapy procedures, patient care equipment, manual therapy techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse groups
  • Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs, transfer patients over 100 lbs, and perform mobility tasks
  • Ability to apply clinical principles, prioritize duties, learn new skills, and use computer technology
  • Clear vision and communication skills for clinical tasks
  • Willingness to work in environments with potential hazards
  • Valid driver’s license and operational vehicle required
