- Conducting patient assessments and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Providing individualized education to patients and families based on thorough assessments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing licensure in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Commitment to quality improvement and professional development.
- Ability to work evenings and every third weekend.
