Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and promoting individualized care that respects cultural diversity.
- Responsibilities: Collaborate with patients, families, and team members through effective communication and documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research activities, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
- Qualifications & Skills: Must possess a current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and ACLS certification (or within 180 days). Requires at least 1 year of direct patient care experience, with strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. Basic computer literacy is necessary. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively is essential.
