Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides independent, direct patient care in a 32-bed Orthopedics/Med-Surg Women's unit, caring for adults with various medical conditions, including surgical and post-surgical needs. They lead care planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.

- Develop and implement care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
- Coordinate care delivery and promote patient health and safety through teaching.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Practice ethically while integrating current evidence-based research into practice.
- Participate in shared decision-making, quality improvement activities, and unit committees.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate leadership and collaborate to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient care.
- Maintain a safe, environmentally friendly practice setting.
- Florida RN or APRN licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized providers.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows.
- New graduates will participate in an RN Residency Program.
