Role Overview

Seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to provide in-person psychotherapy to the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities across multiple states. This clinical role offers a work-life balance with no administrative burdens, as billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications are handled by the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in clinical settings.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patients' needs.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulations using electronic health records (EHR).
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Active, unrestricted LMFT license in the applicable state.
  • Effective communication skills in English and proficiency with EHR technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to provide in-person services within facility settings.
  • Physical ability to move within the facility as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Clinical experience in geriatric, subacute, or long-term care settings.
  • Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
  • Additional experience in psychology or addictions is a plus.
