The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients based on physician referrals, within a patient-centered environment.

- assessing, establishing, and modifying functional treatment goals
- charting accurately and timely
- utilizing therapy software effectively
- collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs
- overseeing and evaluating care provided by Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs) when applicable
- following treatment plans in accordance with regulations
- participating in community health projects as appropriate
- demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies
- assisting in patient evacuation and ensuring safety
- graduation from an accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA)
- ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current state licensure and CPR certification
- preferably 1 year of experience; new graduates are welcome
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- good body mechanics and decision-making skills
- knowledge of legal, regulatory, and safety standards in post-acute care
- maintaining professional relationships
- adhering to policies and confidentiality standards
- committing to dependable attendance and patient care excellence
