Role: Radiographer responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images following established guidelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures using digital equipment.
  • Ensure accurate positioning, proper technique, and correct identification for imaging.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, reporting issues and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self.
  • Provide patient care, education, and ensure patient identification accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, Powershare, Epic, and other computer systems.
  • Assist with training new staff and students, fostering a positive professional environment.
  • Follow department guidelines and regulations, including JCAHO standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registered ARRT R (Radiography) and licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Strong computer skills, good eye-hand coordination, and the ability to organize patient care.
