Role Overview: The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard techniques and EPA methodologies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.

- Perform routine lab tasks such as sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, and recording results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments including gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, and ICP systems.
- Adhere to environmental, health, safety, and quality standards, following GMP/GLP practices.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in the work area.
- Work under supervision, following written and verbal instructions, with potential to learn complex instrumentation and techniques.
- Support team collaboration, problem-solving, and time management to meet quality and operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Laboratory experience preferred; production experience is helpful.
- Strong reading, writing, speaking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following protocols in various analytical disciplines.
- Proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction and fluency in English.
