We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Pediatrics for a perioperative (OR) role in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, performing assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety, assisting physicians, and maintaining continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units.
Qualifications require a minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) nursing experience, an Ohio RN license, and a BSN degree or ongoing. Candidates must hold American Heart Association certification, including BLS and ACLS. CNOR certification and pediatric or reconstructive surgery experience are highly preferred, along with PALS certification.
Skills include strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and the ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
