Role: The Medical Assistant provides patient-focused procedures and tasks from check-in to check-out across multiple sites, under supervision.

Responsibilities: Perform clinical and administrative duties, support various departments, operate and troubleshoot basic office and patient care equipment, and communicate professionally with patients and staff.

Qualifications: Completion of a credentialed or recognized Medical Assistant program, with up to one year of clinical experience (two years preferred). Knowledge of outpatient clinic operations and EMR systems is preferred.

Skills: Effective communication, critical thinking, organization, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and proficiency with computers and medical equipment. Must distinguish colors, smells, sounds, and see adequately for job tasks.

Certifications: BLS certification from AHA required; phlebotomy certification preferred. Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance are mandatory.
