Role Overview: Responsible for transporting patients, specimens, and equipment within the healthcare facility. Greet and assist patients and visitors as needed, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment such as wheelchairs and gurneys.
• Assist with departmental workflow and perform duties assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
• Manage patient belongings and lost and found items.
• Respond to hospital codes and emergency situations following training protocols.
• Perform additional tasks to support department efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
