This position involves operating radiology equipment and performing routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by licensed physicians to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment.

This position involves operating radiology equipment and performing routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by licensed physicians to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment.
Key Duties Include
- Performing radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety standards.
- Selecting and adjusting settings based on patient needs.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completing documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Participating in performance improvement activities and collecting quality data.
- Achieving assigned goals and performing additional duties as needed.
- Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program, with certification by ARRT or pending registration for new graduates.
- Preferred an associate degree in a related field.
- Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and organize work effectively.
- Licensure required includes ARRT certification, BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and any applicable state licenses.
