Role Overview: The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and delivering exceptional patient care. They must operate imaging equipment, understand department protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

- Operate HIS, RIS, and PACS systems for ordering, monitoring, and validating images.
- Organize patient information, reports, and films for interpretation.
- Interview patients, explain procedures, and assist them through exams.
- Produce diagnostic images while adhering to safety standards.
- Operate power injectors and demonstrate proper radiation safety practices.
- Identify patients accurately using two identifiers and provide compassionate care.
- Recognize normal and abnormal findings, documenting and reporting as needed.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology, with CT registration within one year.
- State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred minimum of one year of CT experience.
- Basic computer skills for operation and documentation.
