Role and Responsibilities: Support the design, production, and in vitro testing of mRNA therapeutics as part of the Synthetic Biology team.

Perform hands-on laboratory tasks, including maintaining mammalian cell lines, transfecting mRNAs, and analyzing expression via flow cytometry.

Assist in DNA template design, PCR, cloning, and mRNA quality assessment.

Document experiments and present findings, working independently to generate decision-making data.

Qualifications and Skills: Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biological Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, sterile techniques, transfection, and viability assays required.

Preferred experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis, and flow cytometry.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work full-time onsite in Boston’s Seaport.
