Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning duties with organizational values and standards.

This full-time position involves day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a focus on general surgery patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience

• Supervisory experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods
• Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed for patient care
