Role: Registered Nurse responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes.

Key Duties

• Provide professional nursing care in a psychiatric setting, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with departments to facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather and analyze data, contributing to interdisciplinary planning.
• Participate in developing departmental goals, staff selection, orientation, and program evaluation.
• Attend trainings, serve as a resource for staff and students, and promote mental health awareness in the community.
• Supervise patient care as needed, manage resources within budget constraints.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois with current CPR and CPI certifications.
• Preferably with psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology and therapeutic systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional competence.
