Position: New Grad Nurse (GN) Residency Program within the Medical/Surgical Service Line, offering day and night shift opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities: Transition from classroom to bedside through hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and professional development. Work alongside experienced nurses and leaders to build foundational skills in various units such as Observation Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, Neuroscience, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Trauma Surgical. Focus on enhancing critical thinking, communication, and bedside nursing skills while providing patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Missouri RN/LPN license or temporary permit. BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements necessary for bedside care.
Key Duties & Benefits: Participate in structured onboarding and residency, engage in clinical education, and receive mentorship.
