Role: Registered Nurse in a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice care.
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within four years. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least one year of inpatient experience.
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive nursing care during weekend night shifts, including planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care. Ensure adherence to safety standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective treatment.
