Responsibilities Include

• Utilizing the nursing process and conceptual framework to deliver patient-centered care
• Coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions and uphold patient rights and confidentiality
• Managing complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases, including post-operative surgery, CHF, arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary issues, kidney failure, and overdoses
• Engaging in ongoing professional development, mentorship, and cross-training opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already held)
• Preferred: prior hospital experience, BSN, additional certifications, or specialty experience

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks essential to nursing duties
