The nurse educates patients and families on disease management and self-care, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. Qualifications include an active, unrestricted license in the state of practice, current CPR certification, TB testing within the last 12 months, and reliable transportation. Preferred candidates have at least six months of clinical experience, with additional experience in home health being advantageous. Key skills include attention to detail, effective communication, time management, and problem-solving. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reposition patients, and perform various physical activities.
