Role: RN Weekender - Medical Pulmonary Unit

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week, 7:00am - 7:30pm day shifts, working 4 weekends per 2-week period

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, gather health data, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring safe, timely, and effective interventions
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders via in-person, phone, and written interactions
• Provide tailored patient and family education based on comprehensive assessments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Current Illinois nursing license
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
