Job Description & Requirements

This facility is seeking two Neurosurgery Physician Assistants (PAs) for locum tenens support to assist with a variety of neurosurgical duties.

Responsibilities Include

• Managing new patient consults, pre-operative evaluations, and history & physicals
• Performing inpatient rounding, surgical assisting, discharges, and post-operative follow-ups
• Handling cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with experience in spine surgery and neurosurgical care preferred
• Working 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with no nights or weekends
• Utilizing Cerner EMR system
• Providing care across surgical and clinical environments
• Credentialing within approximately 90 days
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Active California Medical License and DEA license
• National Certification through NCCPA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
