This role involves providing emergency medicine coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in an acute care hospital.
- Provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts, treating patients of all ages with a broad range of acute conditions.
- Shift schedules include multiple options from early mornings to overnight hours, with support staff such as NP/PA available on-site.
- No call responsibilities are required for this position.
- Must be board certified in ABEM or ABOEM, with emergency medicine residency training, an active medical license, and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
- Prescriptive authority is required.
- Responsibilities include managing variable case loads, utilizing full specialty backup, and adhering to established clinical protocols.
