Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in a Neuro IMCU stepdown unit, providing specialized patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver patient-centered, culturally competent care tailored to individual needs and conditions.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care and ensure timely documentation, fostering teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote best practices.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a competent, professional nursing workforce.
• Uphold organizational policies, clinical standards, and safety requirements, including regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and continuous improvement efforts.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year recent, relevant acute care nursing experience.
