Role Overview

This position involves performing sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests in compliance with CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. The role includes performing venipunctures, obtaining and preparing blood specimens according to policies, and assisting technical staff with non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required
• No experience necessary; 1 year as a phlebotomist preferred
• Experience in performing EKGs and working in healthcare or clinical labs is preferred
• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent is preferred but not required
  
  

Key Duties

• Perform sample collection and processing in accordance with regulatory standards
• Assist technical staff and ensure proper specimen handling
• Support laboratory operations in a healthcare environment
